Fair Housing Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing advertising based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin. Many states and localities protect additional classes. RealtyKit takes this seriously — and so must you.
What RealtyKit does
- Generation is instructed to describe the property, never the ideal buyer or resident.
- A dedicated review pass checks drafts for language that could indicate preference or limitation, including coded phrasing.
- When wording is adjusted, the change is shown to you with a plain-language explanation — never silently.
What RealtyKit cannot do
No automated system can guarantee Fair Housing compliance. RealtyKit never claims generated content "is compliant," and its checks are an aid, not a substitute for your professional judgment.
Your responsibility
As the licensed professional, you are responsible for reviewing all content before publication and for its compliance with federal, state, local, and MLS rules. If anything in a draft gives you pause, edit it or consult your broker or counsel.
Reporting concerns
If RealtyKit ever produces language you believe is problematic, please report it to hello@realtykit.app so we can improve the system.
